“We’re living in fear”: 30 Christian families denied access to Church in Odisha | BBC News India

In the Kopena village in Nabarangpur district of India's eastern state of Odisha rising communal tensions resulted in the closure of a Church attended by local Christian families. They say, they have been denied the right to bury their dead in the village as well. BBC News journalists Antariksh Jain and Ishadrita Lahiri travelled to the village to speak to them as well as to the dominant Hindu community who are raising objections to the church.
