While Christian persecution in Ukraine may not always be highly visible, it has increased significantly since the start of the Russia-Ukraine war. More than 600 churches or religious structures have been damaged or closed, nearly thirty religious leaders have been killed, and several Catholic priests have been arrested, tortured, or killed. Steven Moore, founder of the Ukraine Freedom Project, joins to discuss the current state of Christian persecution in Ukraine, the daily challenges Christians face, how faith sustains them during the conflict, and the Vatican’s efforts to recover abducted children.
