Fellowship Isn't What You Think. The Greek Word That Changed Everything

Fellowship. You've seen the sign. You've eaten under it. But the word painted on that door came from a language where it belonged to accountants, shipping contracts, and fishing partnerships. What happened between then and now is exactly what this video is about.

Koinonia is one of the most mistranslated concepts in the entire New Testament. Not because translators were wrong, but because no single English word holds the whole thing at once. Your Bible renders it as fellowship in one verse, contribution in the next, partnership in another, and sharing somewhere else. Same Greek word. Four different English outputs. And the half your church never talks about is the half that actually costs something.

This study moves through the lakeshore in Galilee, the streets of Jerusalem after Pentecost, a prison cell in Rome, a relief fund stretching across the Mediterranean, the Lord's Table, and the founding transaction of the Incarnation itself. Every stop adds a layer to what this one word was always carrying.

By the end, you will not hear that sign the same way again.
