According to Luminate's 2025 Music Report — Christian and gospel grew 25% year on year. Only rock grew faster. Forrest Frank and Brandon Lake are selling out arenas and breaking into the Billboard Hot 100 all-genre Top 40.
For the first time in 11 years.
This isn't a niche story anymore. This is a mainstream story.
Forrest Frank started in a mainstream pop duo called Surfaces — where his faith was there, but implicit. Underneath the surface. When he went explicitly Christian in 2023 he didn't lose his audience. He multiplied it.
Brandon Lake is selling out stadiums singing about Jesus.
The world isn't rejecting faith-based music. It's hungry for it.
Maybe the question was never — can we be open about what we believe.
