Former prime minister Jean Chrétien told a conference in Calgary that dignitaries at the upcoming G7 leaders' summit should pay little mind to U.S. President Donald Trump if he tries to railroad the conversation. Chretien also weighed in on Prime Minister Mark Carney inviting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the three-day summit in Kananaskis, Alta., which starts Sunday. (June 12, 2025)
