The finale of Season 4 of The Chosen prepares us for Holy Week by bringing in all the major players — Pontius Pilate, Judas, Caiaphas, the Sanhedrin, and even the prophesied about donkey from Zechariah. Dr. Tom and Sam set the historical scene for the upcoming crucifixion of Jesus, highlighting a prophecy from the wicked high priest, verifying Claudia's interest in Jesus as the Messiah and shedding some more light on who Pontius Pilate was. The guys enjoy the extra story-telling The Chosen uses to connect Jesus with His Jewish family and to develop the story deeper.
