I knew a guy who smoked weed three times a day and got drunk every weekend. But then, this Scripture completely changed my perspective on chasing peace, joy, and confidence through substances.

Ephesians 5:18 says, "Don't get drunk, which leads to destruction, but be filled with the Holy Spirit."

Listen up.

The devil isn't a creator, he's a counterfeiter. He takes everything God creates and makes a cheap knockoff to lure us away from God.

Getting drunk or high? It's just a cheap imitation of the true euphoria and holy experience you get from being filled with the Holy Spirit.

And the thing with knockoffs? They don’t last.

So, we have to decide today.

Will you chase God's joy or the devil's cheap knockoffs?
