Felix, the son of the feared Roman commander on the prison island of Patmos, is struggling to find meaning in life. He has done something terrible to another human being, and his whole future seems to be ruined. Felix comes to John the Apostle for advice, and through the story of Esau and Jacob, John explains what is happening inside Felix. Through stories from his own time with Jesus, John the Apostle points to the solution for Felix —and for anyone else who is longing for meaning and fellowship with our Creator. However, John’s solution is not easy to accept, and Felix has to go through severe inner struggles. Will he succeed in finding meaning in life?
