Tuesday of the 4th week of Lent

Do you want to be well again?
The sick people represent the people of Israel who longed for the Messiah to free them from suffering. The five porticos symbolise the law, under which they put their hope in God but could never heal them. Sometimes, we think doing rituals and following the law will save us, but it is our encounter with the Lord that saves us.

We reflect: Have my prayer, fasting, and almsgiving helped me to encounter Jesus this Lent?
