MTN CHURCH 20th Anniversary Documentary Film

Looking back at our 20-year journey as a church family reveals that what the enemy meant for evil, God meant for our good. Built on four foundational pillars from Acts chapter 2—the Word of God, authentic fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayer—we have weathered significant storms while maintaining unwavering commitment to our core mission of reaching broken and wounded people. MTN CHURCH's founders, Jim and Maureen Wright, chose radical transparency about their own broken backgrounds rather than projecting perfect religious images as they set out to plant a church. This authenticity created an environment where people could, and can to this day, come exactly as they are, establishing a culture that understands at the cross of Christ, there's no hierarchy and no respecter of persons—everyone is in need of a Savior. When faced with major crises, including a pastor's arrest and COVID-19 restrictions, the leadership responded with honesty and biblical conviction rather than damage control or political positioning. Located at the literal center of Medford, MTN CHURCH serves as a city of refuge accessible to everyone from business professionals to homeless individuals. Our practical ministry includes hosting memorial services for community members regardless of church affiliation and holding outdoor services in public spaces where anyone can come and hear the gospel. We focus on authentic discipleship through small groups and programs like Warriors for young men, creating a multiplying ripple effect as mature believers invest in others.

All Glory to God

In the last days
the mountain of the Lord’s temple will be established
as the highest of the mountains;
it will be exalted above the hills,
and all nations will stream to it.
Many peoples will come and say,
“Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord,
to the temple of the God of Jacob.
He will teach us his ways,
so that we may walk in his paths.”
The law will go out from Zion,
the word of the Lord from Jerusalem.
He will judge between the nations
and will settle disputes for many peoples.
They will beat their swords into plowshares
and their spears into pruning hooks.
Nation will not take up sword against nation,
nor will they train for war anymore.
