Genesis 5 ends eight lives with the same three words: "and he died." Enoch's entry never does. Near the end of the Book of Enoch, in chapter 90, three figures clothed in white and a ram take him by the hands and set him down among the living "before the judgement took place." Who is holding his hands, and why were some of the earliest Christians sure they knew what he was coming back to do?
