Lovy Elias' Latest Scheme Exposed In The Pulpit

Lovy Elias is back again with money-focused messages, and at some point Christians have to ask an honest question: why does this kind of preaching keep circling back to wealth, finances, prosperity, and material breakthrough? In an age where so many people are struggling spiritually, emotionally, and financially, it is deeply troubling to see preachers continually place so much emphasis on money while often wrapping it in the language of revelation, destiny, favor, and supernatural access. In this video, we take a serious look at the return of Lovy Elias’ financial emphasis and ask whether this kind of teaching truly reflects the priorities of Scripture.

This is not a minor issue. The constant focus on money changes the atmosphere of ministry. It reshapes what people begin to expect from church. Instead of gathering to hear the truth of God’s Word, to be confronted by sin, to grow in holiness, and to be pointed to Christ, people can slowly be conditioned to think the Christian life is mainly about unlocking increase, attracting wealth, accessing a higher level of blessing, or learning spiritual principles for financial advancement. That is a dangerous shift because once money becomes central, the gospel is pushed to the side.

In this video, we examine the broader pattern behind messages like these. Why do so many modern preachers keep returning to themes of abundance, increase, and financial release? Why are believers so often encouraged to think in terms of harvests, seeds, and prosperity while weightier matters like repentance, obedience, humility, suffering, endurance, and sound doctrine receive far less attention? These are not small concerns. What a preacher emphasizes repeatedly reveals a great deal about the kind of ministry they are building and the kind of disciples they are producing.

Lovy Elias has built a platform that often draws attention because of bold claims, spiritual language, prophetic style, and messages that many people find exciting and compelling. But excitement is not the same as biblical faithfulness. Charisma is not the same as truth. And a message that sounds powerful is not necessarily grounded in the actual meaning of Scripture. That is why discernment matters. Christians are called to test everything, hold fast to what is good, and refuse to be carried away by teachings that flatter the flesh or stir up covetousness under a spiritual covering.

One of the biggest problems with money-focused preaching is that it can subtly encourage believers to measure God’s favor by material outcomes. If finances improve, people feel affirmed. If wealth increases, they may assume God is especially pleased. If money does not come, they may start blaming themselves for lacking faith, missing a principle, or failing to sow enough. This creates a harmful cycle where people are taught to interpret their relationship with God through the lens of financial success rather than through the finished work of Christ and the promises of Scripture
