Luther inspired us to believe that the conviction of one man can change the world. And that standing up for what one believes is the only true way to live.

Luther left us not only a doctrine. He left us the call to live truthfully. To overcome the fear of thinking and believing freely. From Luther, we learn that conscience is not negotiable. That the courage to stand up for what one believes has more power than all the structures of the world.

His life challenges us to be honest, to seek our inner voice of conscience, and to dare to obey it. And as a culmination, Luther placed in the hands of the people something that had been locked away for centuries: the Word of God.
