What Really Happened During the 400 Years God Was Silent?

What really happened during the 400 years God was silent? Between the Old and New Testaments lies one of the most fascinating and often overlooked periods in biblical history. Discover the hidden history between Malachi and Matthew and how the world changed before Jesus Christ was born.

Why did God seem silent for 400 years? Where did the Pharisees and Sadducees come from? Why was Rome ruling Israel when Jesus arrived? And what happened during those mysterious centuries that separated the Old Testament from the New Testament?

In this Bible study documentary, we explore the intertestamental period, also known as the 400 years of silence, and uncover the historical events that shaped the world of Jesus.

From Alexander the Great and the spread of Greek culture to Antiochus Epiphanes, the Maccabean Revolt, the rise of the Roman Empire, and the birth of Jesus Christ, you'll discover how these events connect with biblical prophecy and God's promises.

We'll also explore the origins of the Pharisees, Sadducees, and synagogues, the growing expectation of the Messiah, and the extraordinary connection between the final prophecy of Malachi and the ministry of John the Baptist.

But the most important question is not simply what happened during those 400 years.

**It's what those centuries reveal about God's faithfulness, His timing, and the coming of Jesus Christ.**

Through Scripture, including Daniel, Malachi, Isaiah, Luke, Matthew, and Galatians, we'll discover why the arrival of Jesus was the turning point in God's redemptive plan.

If you've ever wondered why God seems silent, why His promises sometimes take longer than expected, or how the Old and New Testaments connect, this video will help you understand the bigger picture of the Bible.

Watch until the end to discover why the silence between the Testaments carries a powerful message for every Christian who is still waiting on God.
